Max and I headed out at the crack of noon today and ran along here.
Despite pulling an all-nighter (stayed up 'til 5:30 playing on my computer), I decided it would be fun (and punishing) to look for the steepest hills.
So up and up and up we went. Some places were so steep I literally could not run up (not strong enough) and couldn't run down (kept slipping on my butt).
After 20 minutes of glorious sweat and effort, we arrived at the top of Tod Trail and were treated to this spectacular view. Well, not exactly, 'cause I didn't have my camera. But a very similar view, minus the clouds.
We meandered along the rocky outcropping, watched a couple of ravens circling around, and headed back down.
It was a fabulous run!
PS None of the pics are mine. I find them on various park websites.
